There is a beauty to Raquette Lake that can be found in a few places on earth! If you are looking for the true peace and tranquility of the Adirondacks, Raquette Lake offers it in spades. The fourth largest lake in the Adirondacks, Raquette Lake has over 99 miles of shoreline, eighty percent of which is owned by the state of New York. It is also home to several of the historic Great Camps of the Adirondacks. The Village of Raquette Lake is charming and quaint with a general store for ice cream and baked goods, a small restaurant and a little library. The town is also home to Raquette Lake Navigation Company which offers tours of this incredibly beautiful lake.
