Blue Mountain Lake is a spring-fed 1,280-acre lake with approximately 8.5 miles of shoreline on the eastern end of the Eckford Chain of Lakes. This is a terrific lake for fisherman as it is stocked yearly with lake trout and landlocked salmon and occasionally with brook trout fingerings. Blue Mountain Lake is also the home of the Adirondack Museum, The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts and several historic inns including The Hedges and Hemlock Hall.
