Blue Mountain Lake, a spring-fed lake spanning 1,280 acres, graces the eastern end of the Eckford Chain of Lakes, boasting approximately 8.5 miles of shoreline. Anglers are drawn to its waters as it’s annually stocked with lake trout and landlocked salmon, with occasional additions of brook trout fingerlings. Beyond fishing, Blue Mountain Lake is home to the renowned Adirondack Museum, The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts, and several historic inns such as The Hedges and Hemlock Hall.
